ORLANDO, Florida, July 30 -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency issued the following news release:
The Florida Division of Emergency Management (FDEM) will receive a $3,423,855 grant to help defray the costs of responding to Hurricane Irma under FEMA's Public Assistance Program.
FEMA funds will reimburse the state for the costs of contracting to provide such services as base camps, temporary staffing, supplies, and other items . . .
