WASHINGTON, July 30 -- Rep. Will Hurd, R-Texas, issued the following news release:
U.S. Representative Will Hurd (TX-23) joined fellow Texas Rep. Kevin Brady (TX-08) last week to fight for benefits for our Texas retired public servants by introducing the Equal Treatment of Public Servants Act of 2019. This bipartisan bill makes fairer the Social Security benefits for our retired workers by repealing the modified benefit formula known as the Windfall Elimination Provision.
