U.S. Senators Sherrod Brown (D-OH) and John Barrasso (R-WY) introduced bipartisan legislation last week to expedite the payment of Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) benefits to individuals with terminal illnesses by eliminating the current five-month waiting period.
