Doctors Without Borders Issues Statement on Shipwreck Survivors

NEW YORK, July 26 -- The Doctors Without Borders/Medecins Sans Frontieres issued the following statement by Nurse Activity Manager Anne-Cecilia Kjaer on account of treating survivors of a shipwreck in the central Mediterranean:
"We received a call yesterday morning that there were people disembarked at the military base in Khoms. We arrived at around 10:30 a.m. Our team was made up of one doctor, two nurses, and a driver.
