WASHINGTON, July 26 -- Rep. Frank Pallone Jr., D-New Jersey, chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, issued the following statement in response to Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Andrew Wheeler's announcement that its agency will not complete a second draft of its study for the national particulate matter standard, or reconstitute the disbanded subpanel on pollution, despite concerns raised by an independent scientific advisors:
