WASHINGTON, July 26 -- Rep. Henry Cuellar, D-Texas, issued the following news release:
Congressman Henry Cuellar (TX-28) voted to pass H.R. 3375, the bipartisan Stopping Bad Robocalls Act, to bring much needed relief to Americans threatened by abusive robocall practices. Last year, an estimated 47.8 billion robocalls were placed nationwide, an increase of 17 billion calls over the previous year, which represent a rising risk to the American people as robocallers intensify their scam . . .
