WASHINGTON, July 25 -- The Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee issued the following testimony by Lee Ragsdale, senior vice president for grid infrastructure and compliance at North Carolina's Electric Cooperatives, at a hearing to examine the importance of energy innovation to economic growth and competitiveness:
