KINGS POINT, New York, July 25 -- The Maritime Administration's U.S. Merchant Marine Academy issued the following news release:
Starting today, July 25, USMMA will compete in the Around Long Island Regatta, which is a 205 nautical mile event combining Ocean, Harbor and Sound racing. The race is open to all sailboats in excess of 24 feet and is designed for sailors at all levels.
