WASHINGTON, July 24 -- Rep. Frank Pallone Jr., D-New Jersey, chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, issued the following statement after the Federal Trade Commission announced a settlement with Facebook following the commission's investigation into the company's data privacy practices:
