DUBLIN, Ohio, July 23 -- The Nature Conservancy issued the following statement by Ohio State Director Bill Stanley on General Assembly passage of a bill (H.B. 6) to provide bailout for nuclear powerplants and coal plants:
"Today the General Assembly passed legislation to provide a bailout for two nuclear powerplants in Ohio and two coal plants (one in Ohio and one in Indiana). The passage of House Bill 6 is a missed opportunity for the legislature to develop a comprehensive ene . . .
