WASHINGTON, July 23 -- Rep. Kevin Brady, R-Texas, ranking Republican member of the House Ways and Means Committee, issued the following statement after the Department of Agriculture proposed a rule to repeal the eligibility policy within the Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program that involves taking advantage of state flexibility in the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program:
