WASHINGTON, July 23 -- Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyoming, issued the following statement:
This evening, Wyoming Congresswoman and House GOP Conference Chair Liz Cheney (R-WY) attempted to bring H.R. 962, The Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Act, to the floor for an up-or-down vote. After House Democrats blocked the request for the 75th time this Congress, Rep. Cheney released the following statement:
"The refusal by House Democrats to allow a vote on common sense legislation . . .
