WASHINGTON, July 23 -- Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney, D-New York, issued the following statement on the death of Manhattan District Attorney Robert Morgenthau:
"Robert Morgenthau will forever be known as a giant of our justice system. He was revered by colleagues and New Yorkers alike and worked every day to make our state safer and stronger.
