NEW YORK, July 22 -- New York Attorney General Letitia James issued the following statement calling on Puerto Rico Gov. Ricardo Rossello to resign:
"Home to an estimated 1.1 million people who have roots in Puerto Rico, New York has a special bond with the island and with those who call it home.
"When there is an injustice or injury to Puerto Rico, our communities are likewise harmed and pained.
