WASHINGTON, July 22 -- Rep. Greg Walden, R-Oregon, ranking Republican member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, issued the following statement on the proposed settlement of up to $700 million announced from the Federal Trade Commission, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and 50 states and territories over the Equifax data breach in 2017:
