WASHINGTON, July 19 -- Rep. Jerrold Nadler, D-New York, issued the following statement after the House passed the Raise the Wage Act (H.R. 582) by a 231-199 vote:
The Raise the Wage Act, which Congressman Nadler proudly cosponsored, will gradually increase the federal minimum wage to $15 per hour by 2025.
