WASHINGTON, July 19 -- Sen. Kyrsten Sinema, D-Arizona, issued the following news release:
Arizona senior Senator Kyrsten Sinema applauded the National Park Service's decision to formally add the Sandra Day O'Connor House in Tempe, Arizona to the National Register of Historic Places.
Sinema wrote the Park Service in May asking them to list the house on the National Register and rightfully honor the legacy of Justice O'Connor.
