WASHINGTON, July 17 -- Rep. Donald W. Norcross, D-New Jersey, issued the following news release:

Today, the Middle-Class Health Benefits Tax Repeal Act, led by U.S. Congressman Donald Norcross (NJ-01), passed the U.S. House of Representatives. The legislation, which passed with bipartisan support, repeals a 40% excise tax - commonly known as the "Cadillac Tax" - on certain employer-sponsored health insurance plans.
