WASHINGTON, July 17 -- Rep. Tim Ryan, D-Ohio, issued the following statement regarding the contract negotiations between the United Automobile Workers and General Motors:
Members of UAW Local 1112 who worked at GM Lordstown arrived in Detroit, Michigan this morning to rally in support of their union. GM closed five plants in North America this year, including one in Lordstown, Ohio.
