Action on a proposed New Jersey regulation should be postponed until state officials can evaluate recently finalized, comprehensive federal investor protections, according to the Insured Retirement Institute, (IRI), the leading trade association for the retirement income industry. IRI is testifying tomorrow on the proposed rule at a New Jersey Bureau of Securities hearing in Newark.
