Sen. Wyden Issues Statement on GAO Decision on Health Care

WASHINGTON, July 15 -- Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Oregon, ranking Democratic member of the Senate Finance Committee, issued the following statement on the decision by the Government Accountability Office that the Trump administration's guidance on section 1332 of the Affordable Care Act, which allows states to pursue changes to health care like weakening pre-existing condition protections and allowing plans to be subsidized with tax credits, is subject to the Congressional Review Act:
