RALEIGH, North Carolina, July 15 -- The U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of North Carolina, Robert J. Higdon Jr., issued the following news release:
United States Attorney Robert J. Higdon, Jr. announced that today in federal court, United States District Judge James C. Dever III sentenced COVIA DZELL SMITH, 46, of Shallotte, North Carolina, to 300 months imprisonment, followed by 6 years of supervised release.
