DURHAM, North Carolina, July 15 -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency issued the following news release:
FEMA and the state of North Carolina are announcing more than $6 million to reimburse local governments and a public utility authority for Hurricane Florence-related expenses.
More than $1.5 million in reimbursement funding is going to Bald Head Island for the removal of vegetation and other debris from public rights of way . . .
