Today, Congressman Anthony Brindisi (NY-22) helped successfully include an amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) to crack down on illegal fentanyl shipments.
In March, the Oneida County Overdose Response Team issued an overdose spike alert, with 21 heroin overdoses resulting in five fatalities over a 10-day period.
