WASHINGTON, July 12 -- Rep. Peter DeFazio, D-Oregon, issued the following statement condemning President Trump's planned deportation raids:
"The Trump administration's plans to execute massive raids across the country are nothing more than an assault on vulnerable immigrant children and families, many whose only crime is being here in this country without proper documentation. These cruel tactics will likely destroy families, ruin lives, and tear apart communities.
