WASHINGTON, July 12 -- Sen. Charles E. Schumer, D-New York, issued the following statement on the Trump administration's plan to veto the House version of the National Defense Authorization Act over its inclusion of provisions to protect drinking water from the toxic carcinogen per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances:
