WASHINGTON, July 11 -- Rep. Eliot L. Engel, D-New York, chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, issued the following statement on the anniversary of the massacre of Bosnian Muslims at Srebrenica:
"Twenty-four years ago today began the worst mass killing in Europe since the Holocaust. Bosnian Serb forces rounded up thousands of Bosnian Muslim men and boys, bussed them to execution sites near Srebrenica, and brutally slaughtered 8,000 innocent lives, burying them in mass . . .
