NEW YORK, July 11 -- The American Jewish Committee issued the following news release:
Rabbi Noam Marans, AJC Director of Interreligious and Intergroup Relations, has been elected Chair of IJCIC, the International Jewish Committee for Interreligious Consultations. Other officers elected to two-year terms are: Rabbi David Sandmel, ADL Director of Interreligious Engagement, as Vice Chair, and Rabbi Mark Dratch, Rabbinical Council of America Executive Vice President, as Treasurer.
