PROVIDENCE, Rhode Island, July 8 -- The U.S. Attorney for the District of Rhode Island, Aaron L. Weisman, issued the following news release:

United States Attorney Aaron L. Weisman today announced the appointment and swearing-in of Christine D. Lowell as an Assistant United States Attorney in the District of Rhode Island. Ms. Lowell has been assigned to the United States Attorney's Office Criminal Division.

A native of Massachusetts, Ms. Lowell graduated magna cum laude . . .
