WASHINGTON, July 8 -- Rep. Virginia Foxx, R-North Carolina, ranking Republican member of the House Education and Labor Committee, issued the following statement after the Congressional Budget Office released a report predicting job loss if the federal minimum wage is increased to $15, as required by a Democrat-authored bill (H.R. 582):
