PORTLAND, Oregon, July 3 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the District of Oregon issued the following news release:

Kermit Tyler Poulson, 40, pleaded guilty today to one count of transmitting threatening communications with the intent to extort Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler.
