PIERRE, South Dakota, July 1 -- The South Dakota Department of Transportation issued the following news release:
Today, the Western Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (WASHTO) announced that Samuel Caba, a South Dakota State University (SDSU) student, was awarded a $1,000 scholarship.
WASHTO has granted each of the 18-member state departments of transportation a $1,000 scholarship in the last five years to individuals seeking education and career . . .
