WASHINGTON, June 26 -- Rep. Bob Gibbs, R-Ohio, issued the following statement on the border supplemental bill (H.R. 3401):
"The Democrats' proposal on border security is not just insufficient, it is dangerous.
"At a time when more immigration judges are needed to relieve the pressure of several hundreds of thousands of people apprehended crossing the border illegally, House Democrats' plan doesn't even include funding to hire 30 more judges.
