WASHINGTON, June 25 -- Sens. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-New York, and Charles E. Schumer, D-New York, issued the following joint statement after immigrant Benjamin Barragan was issued a temporary humanitarian visa to visit his terminally ill wife, Maria Paxtor Perez, in Brooklyn:
