WASHINGTON, June 20 -- Rep. Steve Scalise, R-Louisiana, issued the following statement on the passage of his amendment that directs funding to NASA's Michoud Assembly Facility in New Orleans:
"NASA's Michoud Assembly Facility has been a key component to our country's space program going back to the Apollo Mission.
