COLUMBUS, Ohio, June 20 -- The Buckeye Institute issued the following statement by President and CEO Robert Alt reacting to the state budget passed by the Senate:
"The budget passed by the Ohio Senate includes a tax cut for hardworking Ohioans that is both fair to taxpayers and sound policy for the state's long-term economic growth, but the same budget also increases spending by more than $318 million over the already bloated House budget.
