WASHINGTON, June 19 -- Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Florida, issued the following statement after the Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control announced the imposition of sanctions against the Russian Financial Society, a Moscow-based foreign financial institution, for assisting the North Korean regime's efforts to evade U.S. sanctions and access the international financial system:
