AUSTIN, Texas, June 20 -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency issued the following news release:

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has awarded $3.3 million to the Fort Bend County Levee Improvement District #7 working with the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) to fund Phase I of the Fort Bend County Soil Stabilization Project.
