WASHINGTON, June 19 -- Rep. Steve Cohen, D-Tennessee, issued the following news release:
Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today announced that the University of Memphis will be receiving $199,673 from the National Science Foundation to underwrite research by Mechanical Engineering Professor Ranganathan Gopalakrishnan on "dusty plasmas." Dusty plasmas are low temperature plasmas with charged microparticles suspended in them.
