Ohio Environmental Council Issues Statement on Reduction of Phosphorus Flowing Into Lake Erie

COLUMBUS, Ohio, June 14 -- The Ohio Environmental Council issued the following statement by Kristy Meyer, vice president of natural resources policy, on reconfirmed commitment to the 40 percent reduction of phosphorus flowing into Lake Erie by 2025:

"We applaud Governor DeWine for recommitting to reducing phosphorus by 40% by 2025 with his colleagues, Governor Whitmer and Premier Ford.

"Governor DeWine signing this pledge signals once again the health of Lake . . .
