NEW YORK, June 14 -- Educators for Excellence issued the following statement by Executive Director Paula L. White on the New York City budget agreement:
Educators for Excellence-New York (E4E-New York), a teacher-led organization, reacts to the news that the New York City budget agreement includes increased funding for an additional 285 social workers in New York City Public Schools, with 115 social workers specifically to support students experiencing homelessness.
