NEW YORK, May 30 -- The American Civil Liberties Union, a 501(c)3 non-profit that works to defend and preserve the individual rights and liberties guaranteed by the Constitution and laws of the U.S., issued the following news release, dated May 28:

Planned Parenthood of the St. Louis Region and Southwest Missouri -- the last abortion clinic standing in the state of Missouri -- announced today that absent court action, it will be forced to stop providing abortion care on May 31.
