NEW YORK, May 29 -- The World Jewish Congress issued the following news release:
The World Jewish Congress will take part on Sunday in the 55th annual Celebrate Israel Parade, with a custom float adorned with the flags of the organization's more than 100 affiliated communities around the world. The Holocaust Survivor Band, a klezmer ensemble led by survivor Saul Dreier, will accompany the WJC's float as a symbol of the resilience of the Jewish people.
