WASHINGTON, Jan. 23 -- The Council of Chief State School Officers issued the following news release:
Four educators with diverse teaching styles and who teach different subjects have been selected as finalists for the 2019 National Teacher of the Year.
The four finalists, in alphabetical order, are:
* Donna Gradel, the 2019 Oklahoma Teacher of the Year, a high school science teacher who empowers her students to discover ways they can improve their local env . . .
