TALLAHASSEE, Florida, Jan. 18 -- Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-Florida, issued the following news release:
Governor Ron DeSantis announced that Florida's unemployment rate remained at a low 3.3 percent and was down 0.6 percentage point for 2018. In the past year, 241,000 private-sector jobs were created in Florida overall and 21,900 private-sector jobs were created in December. Florida's annual job growth rate of 3.2 percent continues to outpace the nation's job growth rate of 2.0 percent.
