HOUSTON, Texas, Sept. 7 -- Houston Baptist University issued the following news release:
The Baptist General Convention of Texas (BGCT) graciously donated $10,000 to help assist HBU students who were affected by Hurricane Harvey. Mr. Ernest Dagohoy, BGCT Houston area representative, visited campus this week during the convocation (chapel) service to present a check on the behalf of the organization and its executive director, David Hardage.
