KINGSTON, Rhode Island, Sept. 6 -- The University of Rhode Island issued the following news:

University of Rhode Island researcher Hollie Putnam is leading a collaborative $1.1 million, three-year investigation into how coral and other organisms dependent on coral reefs adapt and acclimate to environmental stress caused in large part by climate change.
