BURLINGTON, Vermont, Sept. 4 -- Democracy for America issued the following statement by Jim Dean Chair on Rahm Emanuel's decision not to run for reelection:
This morning, in a surprise decision, Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel announced that he would not run for a third term.
Democracy for America (DFA) strongly backed Jesus "Chuy" Garcia in his 2015 race for Mayor, which forced Emanuel into Chicago's first mayoral runoff.
DFA has more one million memb . . .
