WASHINGTON, June 28 -- The office of Sen. Christopher Coons, D-Delaware, issued the following news release:

U.S. Senator Chris Coons (D-Del.), the first Delaware Senator in more than four decades to serve on the critical Appropriations Committee, helped secure critical funding in the relevant annual appropriations bill to combat the opioid epidemic in Delaware.
