WASHINGTON, June 28 -- Rep. Virginia Foxx, R-North Carolina, issued the following statement after the House passed the 2019 Defense Appropriations bill (H.R. 6157):
This legislation is consistent with funding levels set in the National Defense Authorization Act of Fiscal Year 2019 and provides a $17.1 billion baseline increase in funding from Fiscal Year 2018.
